In a beautiful display of solidarity and community spirit, Kabarak University joined hands to celebrate Huduma Day with Emining School for the Visually Impaired. Led by Pr. Esther, the University Counselor, and Rhoda Chemoiwo from the Procurement Department, alongside staff members from various departments, including procurement, counselors/peer counselors, the Kenya Model United Nations Club, and the Africa Leadership Forum, the day was filled with heartwarming activities and shared moments.

The Kabarak University Nakuru City Campus and KABU TVET Institute held their highly anticipated annual staff team-building event at the breathtaking Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge, nestled on the shores of Lake Nakuru. This idyllic setting provided the backdrop for a day of camaraderie, laughter, and reflection on how to survive and thrive in an environment marked by interruptions and violations. The event was graced by the esteemed Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Kiplangat, who delivered an inspiring address.

Kabarak University, School of Law achieved an outstanding performance, securing 2^nd place nationwide in the recent International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition held on 7 and 8 October 2023. Adeline Chelagat, Elsy Jemutai, and Joan Kiptui represented Kabarak Law School in the highly competitive final round of the Competition, which was organised by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). Various law schools from across the country participated in the Competition. The team also emerged 4^th position in the memorial writing stage out of 15 law schools in the country

The 6th of October 2023 marked the official opening of the Nakuru City Campus Complex and the launch of the Kabarak University – TVET Institute. This momentous occasion represented a significant step towards providing higher education and technical training. The event was attended by the Chancellor, Hon. Dr. Gideon Moi; the Board of Trustees led by their Chair, Hon. Kipruto Moi; and the Governing Council led by Dr. John Kibosia. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Kiplangat, led the University management. Dignitaries, faculty, students, and members of the community shared a memorable experience, witnessing the expansion of educational opportunities and the fostering of innovation in Nakuru and countrywide.

Kabarak University is not just an institution of higher learning; it's a place that believes in nurturing young minds and shaping their futures. Last Friday, a dedicated team of four individuals set out on a mission to Mumias West and East, eager to share the opportunities and knowledge that Kabarak University has to offer. Led by Pastor Esther Kapsir, Dominic Cherop, Lutta Mumia (a student hailing from Mumias), they embarked on a journey of career mentorship and inspiration.

Kabarak University is making significant strides in its pursuit of quality education and services. Recently, the university dedicated a new lift at the Administration Block, designed to enhance accessibility for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs). This move underscores the institution's commitment to inclusivity, ensuring everyone can navigate the campus comfortably.
