The AfriLabs Annual Gathering, held from October 11th to 13th, is a pivotal event in Africa's tech and entrepreneurial ecosystem. Kabarak University, represented by Dr. Andrew Kipkebut from the School of Science, Engineering, and Technology (SSET), played a significant role in shaping Africa's tech future during this transformative gathering.

Access Bank (Kenya) Plc reinforced its commitment to education and community development by visiting Kabarak University. Led by Mr. Segun Lamidi, Group Head of Subsidiaries Operations, and Mr. John Kimani, Chief Operations Officer for Kenya, the delegation engaged with the esteemed Vice-Chancellor of Kabarak University, Prof. Henry Kiplangat, in a productive meeting held in the Vice-Chancellor's boardroom.

Kabarak University, under the guidance of the Counseling Section within the Department of Spiritual and Student Affairs, recently hosted a three-day Peer Counselors Training Program from October 11th to October 13th, 2023. This enriching initiative was spearheaded by the esteemed Dean of Students, providing students with invaluable insights into the art and science of counseling. With a diverse range of topics covered and a team of dedicated coordinators, the event was a resounding success.

Kabarak University annually hosts the Chancellor's Cup Tournament to commemorate the late Kenyan Second President and first Chancellor Hon.Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi, his visionary leadership, and to celebrate the spirit of togetherness among its students. This event holds special significance for the university community, as it brings together the vibrant and talented student body.
