From November 22nd to 24th, 2024, we, Christian student leaders from Kabarak University, had the privilege of attending the 2nd Western Region Christian Student Leadership Conference held at the RCEA Conference Centre in Eldoret. The conference, themed “Leadership That Influences,” brought together 115 Christian student leaders from 14 universities across the country. Accompanied by our University Counselor, Pastor Esther Kapsir, our team included myself, Kipngetich Theophilus, alongside Elizabeth Chepkorir, Meekson Kibet, Carol Wacera, Ian Kipsang, and Joshua Munene.

On November 16, 2024, students from Kabarak University’s Nakuru City Campus and KABU TVET Institute came together in a remarkable display of love, service, and unity. Motivated by a shared mission to make a difference, peer counselors, members of the Christian Union, and students affiliated with the Africa Youth Leadership Forum (ƹƵ) collaborated on an initiative to bring joy and hope to the children of QK Children’s Home in Kiamunyi.

On November 9, 2024, sixty of our Kabarak University Model United Nations (KMUN) delegates embarked on an early morning journey to Kenyatta University for the Second Mock Debate of the 24th KMUN session. The trip began at 4:30 a.m., with a spirited stop at Safari Centre Naivasha for breakfast, energizing our team and setting a positive tone for the day ahead. Our early arrival placed us among the first to reach the Kenyatta University Main Campus, allowing our delegates to settle in and prepare for an enriching day of debate, collaboration, and learning.
