The event, featuring candidates vying for director positions, attracted a diverse and enthusiastic crowd of students eager to hear the manifestos and visions of their potential leaders. The atmosphere was charged with energy as aspirants presented their plans for the future of the Kabarak University Students Organization (KUSO), addressing critical issues such as student welfare, academic support, extracurricular activities, and community engagement.</p>

The workshop, organized with the support of the ENGAGE program, highlighted cutting-edge advancements in data science and artificial intelligence (AI), as well as their game-changing applications in public health.</p>

The conference, themed <strong>“Leadership That Influences,”</strong> brought together 115 Christian student leaders from 14 universities across the country. Accompanied by our University Counselor, Pastor Esther Kapsir, our team included myself, Kipngetich Theophilus, alongside Elizabeth Chepkorir, Meekson Kibet, Carol Wacera, Ian Kipsang, and Joshua Munene.</p>

Motivated by a shared mission to make a difference, peer counselors, members of the Christian Union, and students affiliated with the Africa Youth Leadership Forum (ƹƵ) collaborated on an initiative to bring joy and hope to the children of QK Children’s Home in Kiamunyi.</p>

The trip began at 4:30 a.m., with a spirited stop at Safari Centre Naivasha for breakfast, energizing our team and setting a positive tone for the day ahead. Our early arrival placed us among the first to reach the Kenyatta University Main Campus, allowing our delegates to settle in and prepare for an enriching day of debate, collaboration, and learning.</p>
